Share the excitement and be part of the accomplishments!
Tax deductible gifts to the Annual Fund impact many initiatives, from the conservation and preservation of our permanent collection to our community outreach efforts, education programs, and special exhibitions. Every dollar ensures meaningful arts experiences for the entire Museum community.
Every gift makes a difference.
Cash flow is the challenge, so increasing earned revenue and unrestricted gifts continues to be a priority. The Annual Fund is a year-round campaign.

With your help, the Museum has an exciting future! Plans for 2011/2012:
• Inaugural presentation of the Town Creek Arts Festival in Downtown Jackson, partnering with Downtown Jackson Partners, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce and the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi, and featuring educational activities from the Mississippi Children’s Museum, the Natural Science Museum, and MMA Education staff. Town Creek Arts Festival will also include Mississippi craftsmen and artists, food vendors, and all-day live entertainment. Town Creek will promote the downtown cultural district as a preeminent Downtown Jackson destination.
• Introduction of a new community initiative—The Alzheimer’s Project—presented in partnership with the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Piloting in October, 2011, The Alzheimer’s Project will afford persons with Alzheimer’s, as well as their caregivers, an opportunity for rich experiences by viewing and creating works of art.

• Presentation of Art by Choice, with selected works by Mississippi artists and others from regional and New York galleries available for sale or auction
• The highly anticipated opening of The Art Garden, expanding the Museum’s celebration of art both inside and outside the Museum’s walls
